The laboratory tests all over the world emphasise the influence of magnetic field on the dispersed system properties, especially on the amount of calcium carbonate precipitation. The nucleation and growth rates as well as the crystallographic form (the increased aragonite amounts and surface adhesion) are subject to change. That is connected with changes in hydrating layer around Ca2+ and CO32- ions. Changes in surface tension and electrical conductance serve as a proof. ECOMAG® magnets as the first in the world comprise of magnets with asymmetric volume energy between the poles.
Thanks to that, calcium, iron and magnesium compounds move around different tracks and with different speed than in the case of traditional magnets. The process of new residues emission is stopped and the dissolution of old residues is faster. The outside magnets installation prevents from overgrowing of magnetic groups.
Ecomag® magnets have been installed in industry since 1997 r.
They ensure residue protection for:
• water and steam boilers;
• heat exchangers;
• pipeline systems;
• cooling towers and irrigation sprinklers;
• gas compressors, generators and engines coolers;
• distillation equipment;
for every device in which heating occurs.
We have experience in installations in sewage treatments as well as in water purification systems.
The magnets were designed and installed on the plant’s landfill return water. The water is highly alkaline and comprises numerous calcium and sulphate ions. Consequently, there was a gypsum precipitation (calcium sulphate). The suspension consists of organic and inorganic compounds washed from the landfill. Their presence is indicated by high COD, chemical oxygen demand. Water does not very often meet the requirements, e.g. for basic consumption (Journal of Laws of the republic of Poland of 05 December 2002 no. 203, item 1718). Its mass fills the pipeline with a 350mm diameter and the flow reaches 800m3/h.
Before our devices were installed, the plant had to renovate the hydrotransporting pumps every two months. There were residues accumulating on the rotors and pipeline which were blocking their work. According to the German research, decreasing the inner diameter’s size by 5% reduces the pipeline’s output by 10% and forces the increase of the pressing pressure by 30%
After ECOMAG products were installed on the pipeline with a 350mm diameter, the pumps have not failed for more than a year.

We installed a closed pusher furnaces cooling system in 2005 instead of an open one. This system consists of closed cooling towers and heat exchangers to regain heat. After initial tests, it turned out that the filters protecting the exchangers are blocked by the silt that accumulated in pipelines during the operation of the open system on industrial water.
Having analysed the situation, we installed ECOMAG magnets produced by AKRA Ltd Warsaw.
After magnets installation, an almost instant result could be noticed. The silt stopped covering the filters. The system has been running for 3 years. The water temperature is about 70C.
ECOMAG ® magnets were installed in front of iron removing stations aerators in 2007 (water contains 4 mg FE / l). The installation was cleaned from iron compounds residuals after 7 months and protected aerators effectively.
